Here, i am going to share some alternatives to expensive dry shampoos which you get in market. But before that, let me tell you in brief that what a dry shampoo is.

Now, your hair automatically gets greasy after 2-3 days when you washed it due to the natural oil produced in your scalp. So, Dry shampoo's are actually a life savior that will help to soak that moisture from your hair and give your hair a fresh look.

Home made Dry Shampoo :

1. Cocoa Powder
- You can use cocoa powder for your hair especially if you have black or dark brown hair as it gets easily blended. One important thing as you need to use unsweetened cocoa powder. If the cocoa powder is sweet then it will make your hair a mess. So, you can enjoy this chocolate fragrant dry shampoo.
 

2. Cornstarch 
- You can surely use cornstarch in your hairs as a dry shampoo as it also has properties to soak up the oil. You can add some drops of essentials oils and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil in it as essential oil will give you a beautiful fragrance and tea tree oil is good to reduce dandruff from your hair.

 

3. Talcum Powder
- Talcum powder is also of the alternative surely available at everyone's home. You can use it of any brand like ponds, johnsons baby,etc. It also smells good and help you with your oily hair issues.

 

How to apply :
It is very easy to apply as take one of the alternative powder in your hand. you need to take just a little and take a pinch and sprinkle it on the greasy scalp and then just blend it like you are massaging your scalp and it will soak up the moisture.

The Best time to apply this Dry shampoo is at night at it will do its job and you will get your fresh hair by morning. But, if you have to use urgently, then here is no problem as dry shampoo's are made for those urgent situations only and you will get the result in 5 minutes only.
